A collaborative project I participated in 2021. I was the lead concept artist while serving as a modeller.
Drew, a delusional wizard robot defends against his original human creators, thieves, scavengers and other mutated creatures through the use of his magical powers channelled through his creative use of engineering skills in the post-apocalyptic world of Mayhem.
Susan is Drew’s only friend in the world and she’s a talking robot dog in the shape of a portable and self-moving toolbox with an LED screen. Drew gave birth to her as an act to adopt a familiar pet.
This project was the winner of the Bronze award in the Australian Effect and Animation Festival 2022 (student category)

CONCEPT BREAKDOWN
It was my honour to work as the lead concept artist of this collaborative project. I was responsible to design the main characters: DREW and Susan, along with some props appearing in the scene.
MATT PAINT BREAKDOWN
I also handled the task of matt painting the far ground of the scene. The image was then comped into the scene during post-production.
